What I Offer
I work with both individuals and organizations.
Coaching is not a one-size-fits-all process or service. I partner to craft a custom-tailored program that best suits each client’s unique aspirations and challenges. While the program is created to align with your specific needs, I’ll also challenge you to grow and learn in ways that encourage you to move beyond your comfort zone to be the best you can be.
When multiple members of the same organization are coached in a similar manner, results naturally show up in enhanced cross-functional communication, increased accountability, and improved team performance.
How do we get started?
We start with a complimentary 30-minute Chemistry Session. Good chemistry is one of several important elements to ensure a successful coaching engagement. While the coach is not your buddy or best friend, they are a partner who is willing to challenge you, call your bluff, and help you confront hard work. Both parties must be ready to invest in a relationship enabling a stretch beyond self-limiting beliefs.
If there’s a fit, we move on to an initial questionnaire and a Discovery Call to dig into the specifics of how a coaching program can benefit you. We discuss the process we’ll use to work together, including aspects such as confidentiality, communication methods, and the associated investment.
Effective progress and long-lasting change don’t happen overnight. It all starts with awareness, and that in itself is a process, as we move toward identifying opportunities to meet your goals.
Coaching clients are expected to make a minimum commitment of three months, giving us enough time to identify necessary changes, put them in place, measure effectiveness, and assess progress. Our goal is to build self-sufficiency, so that coaching clients can continue to self-coach and sustain improvements after our engagement has been completed.
“April is very caring, extremely approachable and present for our coaching sessions, asking key questions to propel the discussion.”

FAQs
What makes a good coach?
Selecting a coach for leaders requires careful consideration of a number of factors:
- Good chemistry is a requirement, but not the only requirement.
- While the coach is not your buddy or BFF, they are a partner who is willing to challenge you, call your bluff, and help you confront hard work.
- You want a coach who won’t be afraid to push you and help you stretch beyond your limiting beliefs.
How does your coaching/teaching methodology lead to success?
- I’m not here to tell you what to do or to “fix” you. I’m here to help you work towards your personal and professional vision of growth and success.
- I’m collaborating with you, not forcing activity based on one “right” way to make decisions, approach challenges, or effect change.
- I offer objectivity, valuable feedback, and relevant perspectives you can trust.
